Teens 'N Training 06-Jul-2010 July 6 - July 8
"tNt" teens N training will be offered on July 6, 7 and 8, at Ogden Community Centre.
Registration begins on Monday, May 10, 2010. Call 625-2351 to register. Offered every July, teens N training features three days of core skills and program specific training. Course components include:
Leadership Development
Responsibilities & Rights of Volunteers
Child Development
Worker Safety Awareness
40 hour placement
teens N training is mandatory for all Chippewa Summer Camp and Playground programs. For Adventurers Camp and Summer in the Parks Concerts positions, the teen N training course is recommended. Volunteer orientation is provided for all Youth Zone programs
YVC- Teddy Bears Picnic 13-Jul-2010 11:00am - 3:00pm
It's time once again for the annual Teddy Bears Picnic at Vickers Park from 11am -3 pm on Tuesday, July 13.

MS RUN AND ROLL HALF MARATHON 18-Jul-2010 6:30am - 12:00pm
This is a perfect event for our Youth Volunteer Corps. (YVC) team.
Volunteers are needed to man the road entrances, cook/serve breakfast and refreshments ohh and did I mention you get to eat some yummy breakfast as well as receive a free t-shir?

Lake Superior Days 18-Jul-2010 11:00am - 4:00pm
Are you between the ages of 11-18? If you are we need your help! July 18th is Lake Superior Day and VTB is in-charge of the DuNk TaNk!!!! This is going to be a super fun super cool way of getting your volunteer hours required to graduate.
