	Volunteer Thunder Bay Seeks Board Members VTB is seeking a number of board members who will serve two-year terms, with eligibility for renewal. The Board meets monthly. Board members serve in a collegial body. Directors contribute to the governance of VTB and may be involved in supporting the organization in the areas of: finance, funding, planning, nominations, or policy. Directors are in a position to make a real difference in the community through their contribution to the work of an essential association. Board members will have the opportunity to participate in interesting challenges and learning experiences, due to the general nature of our mission. Directors share friendship, enjoyment, and recognition, while having the opportunity to use their talents to serve our community. Qualifications Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills combined with a practical and pragmatic mindset and a strong interest in serving the public sector. A team player with personal impact and superior communication skills, able to work effectively with a broadly-based peer group and capable of representing VTB effectively externally.
